It seems like it has been quite a while since I worked the morning shift already.
After so long, today is again the day where I cannot leave as scheduled. Nearing lunchtime, I had to clear all the follow-ups on hand. There were quite a number of emails and faxes to clear as well. However, I managed to clear them before leaving for lunch.
Did not really have the appetite to eat during lunch. Just had a couple spoonful of mee-tai-mak only and 3 fishballs…
Just after I came back from lunch, Dear called. He just woke up I guess. Asked me whether is anyone accompanying me to go shopping. As spoken last night, he is willing to company me. Hehe…
I actually could go off at 5pm. However, Ein Ein had to go for her dinner break. So I left only after she came back. Called Dear then. At first, I told him he need not company me. I can do my own shopping. He agreed at first. Kept asking me if I really do not mind. Yes I do not mind my dear. Anyway, he came down to accompany me still. Funny me. When he wants to meet me, I do not feel like meeting him. When I want to meet him, he do not feel like going out.
Planned to meet me at 7pm at Ang Mo Kio. Called me at 6.30pm. He OVERSLEPT!!! Decided to head to Orchard. Asked him to go there to meet me. 7.30pm… Called me around 7pm again. This time round, he sounded rather pissed. His sister is using his toilet!!! He is unable to take his shower. I assured him that I will continue to do my shopping while waiting for him to come. Finally, he reached at 8.30pm. Before he came, I tried on many clothes. None really fit me though…
Sat out Meritus Mandarin for a chat. Expressed his thought of not going to Malaysia then. He had no money. I was pissed of course. Imagine you have it all planned, where to stay, what to do and where to go. All of a sudden, just one word and everything is gone. However, I understand his situation as well. Said I do not want to go already. But seeing me so unwilling, he decided to go ahead with the plan. I admit I was unwilling. But I want to be a more understanding and caring girl-friend as well. I do not want to force him to do things he will not enjoy doing. Yes, I am a very stubborn girl…
Went to eat Burger King before leaving. He ordered a Chicken Whopper meal. I just had fries. When the burger came, MY GOD!!! It was huge!!! I took a couple of bites. Still, we are unable to finish the whole burger. Like I say dear, in Orchard, everything is BIG!!! (A joke between you and me only)
Reached home, saw the Winnie the Pooh stickers on the table. I then remembered that I had asked Steve to buy for me. So sweet of him. He actually remembered but not myself!!! Thanks anyway. Feel like a pampered 3 year old child… =)
